Privacy

Your location is used once, to answer the request you just made. We cache the answer for the surrounding area for a few hours so the next hungry person nearby gets an instant response. We do not store your coordinates against you, and there are no accounts.

A share link stores exactly what you shared: the list of places, the area it was made for, and when. Anyone with the link can see it, so share it like you would any link.

We count visits with Vercel's cookieless analytics: aggregate page counts only, no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal profiles.

Two outside services see what you searched, because they are what answers it. Your coordinates go to Foursquare to find the restaurants around them, and a place name you type goes to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim to turn it into coordinates. Neither gets a name, an account or anything else about you, because we do not have any of that to give.

No ad trackers, no selling data, nothing creepy. Rate limiting keeps a hashed, truncated form of your IP address for up to an hour, and that is the whole story.
